Liya Christian Ministry існує, щоб донести життєдайну звістку Євангелія Ісуса Христа до всіх до кого ми йдемо.
Через благодійність та служіння ми приходимо до людей і в сім»ї з неповносправністю розділити їх тягар через допомогу в їх фізичних потребах.
Через молитву, поклоніння і християнське свідчення ми допомагаємо їм в їх духовних потребах.
Наше бачення
Всі люди створені Богом для Його цілей. Незважаючи на те,що існує неповносправність, ми всі "дивовижно створені".

Наші завдання
Liya Christian Ministry організовуватиме навчання і підтримку місцевих церков в Україні, щоб забезпечити їх знаннями для підтримки людей з особливими потребами.
Наша мета це дати усвідомлення і практичне розуміння пастирям і церковним лідерам, щоб вони були готові прийняти людей з інвалідністю.
Наша мета рекламувати Доступ для людей з інвалідністю, щоб вони могли мати задоволення від усіх можливостей, які доступні для суспільства в цілому.
Наша мета це відстоювати фізичну доступність до приміщень.
Музика
Музика відкриває нам двері в церкви,щоб привернути їх увагу і представити наше служіння різним общинам. Через концерти ми загострюємо відчуття необхідності і впроваджуємо наше служіння в суспільство.
У що ми віримо
Ми віримо, що усе, що ми робимо, є актом поклоніння нашому Господу. Ми молимося за гармонію з нашими партнерами в Ісусі Христі, щоб однодушно, одними устами славити Бога й Отця Господа нашого Ісуса Христа. (Римлян 15:6)

Нашим основним завданням є донести життєдайну Добру новину про Господа нашого Ісуса Христа усім, з ким ми маємо справу. За допомогою благодійності та служіння ми досягаємо осіб та сімей, щоб розділити їх переживання і допомогти у їх фізичних потребах. Через молитву, поклоніння і християнські свідчення ми допомагаємо у їх духовних потребах.
Другорядні питання
Наші волонтери та працівники приходять з різних життєвих доріг. Ми віримо, що Бог може здійснити Свою ціль будь-якими методами, які Він вибирає. Ми співпрацюємо з церквами, організаціями та особами, які підтримують нашу християнську місію.
Ми працюємо з різними націями, культурами, мовами і традиціями. Оскільки ми хочемо вивчити більше один про одного, ми намагаємося не дозволити традиціям стати на заваді проповіді Євангелія.
Нам приємно співпрацювати з церквами та особами, які полюбляють як сучасні, так і традиційні стилі музики. Деякі з наших партнерів відвідують церкви, в яких жінок просять покривати голову, інші - в тих, що не просять. Нас підтримують як церкви, у яких призначають жінок дияконами, так і ті, що не призначають. Деякі з наших партнерів по служінню вбачають прийнятним для жінок помірне користування косметикою, інші утримуються від цього (Римлян 14:1-4).
Іноді ми та наші партнери розходимося в доктринальних питаннях. Як служіння ми насамперед шукаємо єдності і миру (Римлянам 12:18) і усвідомлюємо, що Бог буде здійснювати Свої цілі, незважаючи на, і часто не дивлячись на наші доктрини.
Ми віримо, що місцеві церкви відіграють виняткову і важливу роль у навчанні доктрини.
У прийнятті рішень ми керуємося нашими основними принципами віри.
Першочергові питання
Ми - християнське служіння, і нашою метою є поширення Доброї звістки кожній людині, якій ми служимо. Усе служіння повинне бути наповнене силою Святого Духа, щоб бути ефективним (Івана 15:5). Мотивом нашого служіння і нашої роботи є слава Божа (1 Коринтян 10:31).
Ми віримо, що усі згрішили і позбавлені Божої слави, і тому лише через покаяння і віру в Ісуса Христа ми виправдовуємося даром, Його благодаттю, а не нашими ділами (Ефесянам 2:8-9).
Ми віримо, що Ісус Христос був розп'ятий і помер за наші гріхи, але на третій день Він воскрес, з'явився багатьом і був вознесений на небеса, і Він прийде судити живих і мертвих.
Ми віримо, що усе Писання, усі 66 книг Старого і Нового Заповіту є Богонадхненне, достовірне і непогрішиме Слово Боже. Ми керуємося Біблією в усіх питаннях віри і практики, котра є корисна для навчання, докору, направи, до виховання в праведності (2 Тимофію 3:16). У тих питаннях, які чітко прописані у Біблії, ми рішучі, у тих, де нема чітких настанов, ми надаємо свободу (2 Коринтян 3:17).
Ми віримо у Триєдиного Бога, Єдиного по Своїй сутності, Який є вічним, і Який існує у трьох Особах: Отець, Син і Дух Святий (Матвія 28:19).
Ми віримо, що людина була безпосередньо і швидко створена Богом, але через непослух Адама відкритій волі і Слову Божому людина втратила свою невинність і підпадає під осудження смерті. Людина не може відновити себе без спасіння, яке полягає у викупительній жертві Господа Ісуса Христа (1 Коринтян 2:14)
Ми віримо, що кожна людина повинна прагнути того, щоб бути членом помісної громади віруючих, але членство в церкві чи хрещення не є необхідною попередньою умовою для спасіння. (Луки 23:43)
Leadership Team
Mikhail Dovgalyuk (1956 - 2014), Founder
Mikhail and Lyuba Dovgalyuk are the parents of Liya Dovgalyuk. In 1998 Mikhail and Lyuba, along with friends and other family members, established Liya Christian Ministry in Ukraine in memory of their daughter Liya who passed away at the age of 13.
Mikhail was the mastermind behind the Dovgalyuk Ensemble, a musical group comprised of this kids that he organized as a surprise to his wife. Mikhail was not a musician, but he was the best critic and held an "honorary" title of the Librarian in the Dovgalyuk Ensemble.
Lyuba Dovgalyuk, Founder / Board Member | USA
Lyuba Dovgalyuk is the founding member of Liya Christian Ministry. Lyuba was born and grew up in Riga, Latvia. She started playing piano at the age of 6 and started to accompany church choirs at the age of 12. Lyuba spent her summers and school breaks travelling to various parts of Eastern Europe as a music missionary. She brought her music to the small churches in the villages and towns.
In 1987 Lyuba and Mikhail, along with their four children, formed The Dovgalyuk ensemble. The Dovgalyuk children started to learn how to use their music talents and ability in ministry from a very young age. Starting in 1989 they performed in churches, prisons, hospitals, schools and at various outreach events hosted by the Latvian Christian Mission.
Shortly after the Dovgalyuk family moved to the United States in 1991, Lyuba joined the staff Sunrise Assisted Living where she works to this day.
She is a grandmother of even.

Dr. Zoriana Vuiv, MD, Director Access / Board Member | UKRAINE
Dr. Vuiv is the Director of Liya Access ministry in Ukraine. She is a neonatologist and a founding member of the ministry. Zoriana is a mother of two.

Dr. Yevgeniy Dovgalyuk, Director Music / Board Member | USA
Dr. Yevgeniy Dovgalyuk is a professor of music at Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA. He also regularly performs with the National Symphony Orchestra in Washington DC and various other orchestras.
He is actively involved with Liya Music Camp International in USA hosted by the McLean Bible Church and various music camps in Ukraine where he serves as the Music Director. Yevgeniy is board member Liya Christian Ministry which was founded in memory of his sister Liya. He has performed throughout the USA and Europe, including Sweden, the United Kingdom, Ukraine, Latvia, and Russia.

Katya Kornichyuk, Director Pre-School | UKRAINE
Mrs. Kornichyuk serves as the director of the integrated pre-school, where typical children and children with dissabilities come and learn together.
Katya is an accredited Montessori specialist in Ukraine. Our integrated pre-school is using Montessori approach and tools as the basis for the instruction in the classroom. This is a first of its kind pre-school in Ukraine that brings typical children and children with disabilities into a learning environment.

Ira Kosinets, Volunteer Coordinator / Mother's Bells Leader | UKRAINE
Ms. Kosinets joined our ministry as our first ACCESS ministry volunteer in 2009. She quickly discovered her love for the families of children with special needs and felt the Lord call her to become a more active member of the ministry team. She invested her time and personal funds to purchase bells that mothers and children can use. Because of Ira's vision and commitment Mother's Bells Ensemble was born. This ensembles performs regularly at various venues and is an essential part in achieving our mission objective of Acceptance.
Tatiana Tarasyuk, ABA / Corrective Theraphy | UKRAINE
Tatiana leads corrective therapy. She is the first accredited ABA therapist in Rivne regions. We are thankful for her desire to help children with special needs.
Applied behavior analysis (ABA) is an applied science devoted to developing procedures which will produce observable changes in behavior. Tatiana's interest in ABA stemmed from her desire to help her own child with special needs. ABA is a relatively new field in Ukraine and our ministry is thankful to have the first ABA accredited specialist in the Rirve Region on our team.
Tatiania Gutselyuk | Pool Ministry and Physical Therapy | UKRAINE
Tatiana is responsible for running our pool ministry in Rivne, Ukraine. She is an avid athlete and she is excited to use her talents to help children with disabilities.

Andrea Dovgalyuk, Board Member | USA
Andrea Dovgalyuk is an interior designer in the Northern Virginia area. She has served as our board member since 2008. Andrea has traveled with Liya Christian Ministry on nine international mission trips starting in 2001.
Andrea is married to Timofey and they have four children.

Ben Roundtree is a former orchestra leader and pastor at McLean Bible Church. Ben is an avid handbell player. He and his family currently reside in Germany.

Liya, we love you very much. God loves you very much. The doctors tell us that the medicines are not helping you anymore. So, when Jesus comes to you and puts out his hand, you take it and go with him, and wait for us.
I often recount those incredibly courageous and haunting words in sermons and talks I give around the world. The words were whispered to a 13-year old child dying of cancer in a hospital ward in Washington, D.C. by her mother, with the father standing alongside. Every time I tell the story and quote the words, my eyes brim with tears. Inevitably, those in the congregation or other meetings who absorb the words, are deeply moved. I often see people wiping their eyes or reaching for their tissues. In the Baptist church in Denia, Spain, when I told about Liya's death and reiterated her mother's brave words at the bedside, the translator was so overcome she could barely get the words out. Not surprisingly, therefore, the congregation was in tears! A senior American Baptist pastor who heard me tell the story in Kohima, Nagaland said the story was the best illustration he had ever encountered of the transition from life to death (or is it life to life?).
